Troubleshooting

Problems with Loading Photos

Cannot load image data
Cause Solutions
The image data does not exist in the specified location. Make sure that the format of the file in the specified location is supported by EPSON Easy Photo Print.
The length and breadth ratio of the photo to load is larger than 1 : 79 or 79 : 1. Adjust the ratio to, or smaller than, 1 : 79 or 79 : 1, then reload.
Insufficient space on the computer's hard disk or insufficient memory. Free up sufficient space for EPSON Easy Photo Print to operate, or install more RAM.
For details, see System Requirements.
The number of pixels in the image being loaded is too small or too large. The minimum readable image size is set to 60 pixels, but a larger size can be specified. Confirm the setting in the Preferences dialog box and change the value if needed, then restart EPSON Easy Photo Print. For details, see Preferences Dialog Box. The maximum readable image size depends on your free hard disk space. When you handle photo data with a large number of pixels, prepare enough free space on your hard disk.

The scanned image data is not supported.

This software can not read the scanned image (via TWAIN) of Index color (e.g. 256 colors, 16 colors). When you scan images for this software, change the color settings to 24-bit color, then re-scan images. For details, refer to your scanning device documentation.

Some images take time to view (load).
Cause

The image does not have a thumbnail. Because images are displayed as thumbnails, if the image data does not have a thumbnail it must be reduced and this takes time to display.
